New pebble drawing

 Hi all,

It's not quite finished yet but here is my latest drawing. I used a black pen and have drawn onto both sides and, no, I don't know what I'm going to do with it when it's finished! I just love to draw and if this lockdown goes on for much longer I might have enough arts and crafts to fill a gallery!!

Thanks for looking and stay safe.

New lockdown drawing on a wooden pebble!!

 Hi all,

Just a quick share of my latest artwork. I've decided recently to try to stop being glued to my phone of an evening and use my free time a little more wisely to be creative!

I got some wooden pebbles a few weeks ago with a view of doing some pyrography (new treat to myself although my husband refers to it as a posh soldering iron!) I've still not gotten around to the pyrography although I have discovered that I love to draw on them! This is my first attempt, it was drawn completely freehand, I started in the middle with a black pen without sketching it first with pencil and hoped for the best so I'm quite pleased with the results!

Thanks for looking and I hope that you're all ok and staying well.

Hi everyone,

Here's my recent drawing, it's a new experimental piece drawn onto a stone (as you do!)
The design follows along the shape of the rock so it looks better in the flesh.

Hope you all have a great weekend 😀

Hello all,

I've been snowed under with (summer!) cross stitch commissions recently but I did manage to get a small amount of drawing done for myself yesterday. I thought I would try my hand at drawing onto a stone (as you do!) Here it is,

I have been wanting to also try a Christmas design onto stone. If I get around to trying one, I will post a photograph of it onto here.

Thanks for looking,

New zentangle doodle!

Hi everyone, I've been in between drawing projects so started a doodle.....the doodle became my new drawing project!! Here it is......

It started life as a quick pencil sketch then I drew over it with a fine point pen. Here is the first photo I took of it (with my phone so it's rather dark)

I can move on with my life now and start a commission drawing for cross stitch gold!!

New drawing...at last!

Hi all. Wow, it has been a long time since my last post hasn't it! I've been super busy working on magazine commissions which, of course is brilliant but it does mean that I've had very little time to commit to the website or my own artwork. Hence, the drawing below has taken me an age to complete! Here it is anyway, daffodil, size approx. a4, polychromo pencils on Stonehenge paper.

Hopefully it won't be so long till my next post!
Thanks for reading,

My recent drawing

Hi everyone.

Here's my latest drawing. I did it for an online facebook challenge, the group is called 'united by art' . They will be announcing the winner this Sunday....very exciting! It was only for fun and you don't actually win anything, except for the glory of being the winner I suppose!
I loved working on this picture although the background became a little tedious toward the end! Therefore, the bottom right hand side area took me only about half an hr which is VERY quick for one of my pieces af artwork.  :  )
I hope you like it anyway. I used polychromo pencils on stonehenge paper, size approx 11 x 14".  If I don't post anything on here again about it...it means I didn't win the challenge! Watch this space...............................

Have a lovely day everyone.
