My recent life drawing sketches

Hello again. I'm so pleased that, since living in Leicester from April 2014, I've finally got my act together and found some lovely life drawing groups! I've really been missing life drawing although I must admit, I am finding it a bit of a struggle to get back into the swing of things! Here's a selection of my sketches, they range from spending 5 - 20 minutes for each drawing. I think you'll probably agree that there's plenty of room for improvement so it's practise, practise, practise!! :  )

New life drawing sketch

Hello again,

Here's my last post of the evening. It's another one of my life drawings. I hope you enjoy looking at it. Again, the photo was taken with my phone so it's not the greatest quality.

My left handed life drawing effort!!

Hello again,

Ha ha, I always have a tendancy to do this...not do a new blog for ages then do 3 at once!

Anyway, here's one of my latest life drawings. It's a 3 minute sketch done with (eeek!) my LEFT hand. The photo isn't the best quality as I took it with my phone but I thought why not post it anyway!

My latest life drawing sketch

Hello everyone. I hope that you're all well.

Just a quickie to show you all my latest life drawing sketch. I loved working on this one, it's a 40 minute sketch. If we ever won the lotto I think I would have a list of life models who would be on call 24/7 so I could get my fix of life drawing! Ha ha, maybe I'd throw in a couple of exotic holidays or two as well.  :  )

Jenny's latest sketches

Hello all. Well, it's a beautiful day here in York. I'm enjoying it whilst I can as rain is forecast for tomorrow (or so our lollipop lady reliably informed me this morning anyway so it must be right!)
I had another enjoyable life drawing class last night. Here's one of my sketches, I thought it best not to post onto facebook as I didn't want anyone's children seeing my naked man on their parents accounts!

I've also uploaded my (child friendly!) owl sketch. I much prefer drawing animals to people but think it's probably down to needing more practice. Hmmmm, I wonder if a cross stitch design of a naked man will be very popular?!.......

Bye for now everyone and enjoy the rest of the day  :  )
