Cross stitch collection features

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all having a great weekend. The kids and I got completely drenched in a downpour at our local park yesterday so we're having a nice relaxing day in today! Of course, I use the term 'relaxing' very loosely as my daughters idea of relaxing is anything but relaxing!
Anyway, just a quick update on my latest magazine work. These 2 designs can be found in issue 239 of cross stitch collection. I'm really happy with them both, I hope you all like them.

New Christmas design

Hello everyone. I hope you're all well and all of my UK based followers have been enjoying the beautiful sunshine! I've been making the most of the gorgeous weather and it's always so nice when we don't have to put layers and layers of clothes on the kids before we can head out of the door! Although of course....we do spend equally as long covering them in sun tan lotion!

I realise that now isn't perhaps the ideal time to be thinking about Christmas but ....can it really EVER be too early to start your festive stitching?! Here's a new Christmas poinsettias alphabet and numbers chart for you anyway. I love poinsettias and get one every year. One year I even managed to keep mine looking healthy till the following February (for anyone who knows me well, they will know what an achievement that was!)  I hope you like my chart, it's available as a download and by post.

Hello everyone. Well, we're now finally settled (ish!) into our new home in Leicester. We've still got a bit of unpacking to do but we're well and truely over the worse of it!
Whilst I'm on the subject of moving home, here's a cute new chart which is quite apt at the mo!

New Easter freebie chart

Hello everyone,

Oh dear, it feels like it's been ages since I did an update on my blog! Although, I do have a very good reason as we've been preparing to move house. As of 4th April we'll be living back in sunny Leicester. It's our home town but we haven't lived there since 2005 so we're very excited....not to mention, very exhausted!
Anyway, I'm sure you'll all be pleased to know that I've uploaded a new freebie chart onto my website. It's a small collection of Easter eggs which I've taken from my new Easter eggs alphabet chart  Take a look when you get a mo, it's available by post and download.     :  )

Hello again. I've just realised that I didn't post my latest drawing onto my blog. Here it is anyway. It took what seemed like forever to finish but I enjoyed every minute of it! It's been produced using a black pen and made entirely from dots.

People tell me they can see faces and all sorts of things in this picture. See if you can spot the face. I was studying it for ages before my husband finally pointed it out and now I know it's there I'm finding it kind of freaky! Would have thought I might have noticed it beofre seeing as I was the person who drew it1 Bizarre! Hope you all like it anyway.   :  )

Hello everyone! I hope you had a lovely Christmas and happy new year. We had a lovely Christmas, just a quiet one this year....well, as quiet as you can get with 2 very excitable little ones in the house!!
Christmas always seem more magical since I became a mum, I'm not ashamed to admit that I look forward to a visit from the big guy with the red suit!!!!

Ahem....now time for a website update. I've just uploaded 2 new charts. There's a 'good luck in your driving test' and a lovely set of 'happy animals'. I hope everyone likes them.
